“creates me headlines for a phone case company that includes numbers, speaks directly to the readers, leverages the fear of missing out, highlights the benefits or outcomes, identifies the target audience's pain points, harnesses the power of negatives, and uses curiosity gaps.”
Above is the initial prompt I typed into Chat Gpt. I created this prompt starting with telling chat that these headlines should be created for a phone case company so it understood who the audience and buyers would and could possibly be. I included some of the key components to create a great headline so it would give me answers that were specific and related to what we learned in class instead of giving me random headlines that wouldn’t pull in and grab the attention of readers. I wasn’t completely sure on what I wanted my headlines to sound like but I had a few ideas of what I wanted to incorporate so I ensured I added those into my prompt. I want one of my headlines to include a number because it grabs attention so I put that first so chat gives me many headlines with numbers included. Secondly, I want the headline to speak directly to my customers since my phone cases are meant to inspire and express each individual's personality. I put this second so I would also receive a bunch of headlines that would include that. I put the first two things I wanted the most hoping that I would have headlines including those attributes mostly but added the other key components discussed in class in case I enjoyed some other ideas I felt spoke to my audience.
- List the final two (2) prompts you created to generate the other (2) headlines. For each, explain how you modified each, including what you did and why. This must be based on class content only. (8 Marks)
“create headlines that speak more directly to the customers to make them feel connected to our brand”
This was my second prompt I wrote to get more headlines for my website. I wanted to create headlines to resonate, connect, and speak more directly to my consumers. This is because My brand is supposed to speak to the viewers helping them find themselves. I want the headline to speak to them because when they begin to read more on my website they will feel like we care about them and their wants and our site is tailored to them. Because this is a widely used product around the world with many competitors, I want to stand out by making people interested by making them the star of the show. I altered my prompt in order to receive those headline results. I want to make my buyers feel like this is a one-on-one conversation to create a more personal and intimate atmosphere. This will keep them coming back for more. People love to read about themselves.
“Include ones which induce fomo and numbers”
I want one of my headlines to put the pressure of fomo onto the readers and customers. Numbers are proven to lure people in and it is what most people tend to look at and click. I wanted to include numbers as well to be able to provide a list that includes phone cases. I wanted to induce fear to entice people to read more and click on our website. I wanted to be straightforward and short with what I asked to create more specific results and ideas so I asked for the two things that I wanted to be included in the headlines Chat Gpt generates for me and my business. By including numbers, even if people aren’t looking for what I am posting they will be drawn to it because it stands out and will produce credibility. This will build a structure which people enjoy. By adding in the fear of missing out, it will increase the sense of urgency to read more and figure out what they don't know. I want them to get the feeling that they will be missing out on key tips if they don’t click and continue to read.
